Description
"Spiedino" means "Skewer" in Italian. This name was chosen because of its visual similarity to elements lined up along an axis. It’s also a nod to Italian culture, known for its art, gastronomy, craftsmanship, and design culture. The Spiedino suspension was conceived in Italy by the design studio Whynot!, and is the result of a rhythmic dialogue between simple and balanced forms. Made from high-quality materials like solid ash and fabric, Spiedino emphasises a refined aesthetic but also focuses on current themes of sustainability and the circular economy. Elegant and playful, Spiedino is versatile and fits seamlessly into a wide range of interiors. To best suit both private and public settings, Spiedino is available in two sizes and four colour palettes.
