Here is a list of useful tips to get the best results with the camera trap:

• Install the device at about 1.5 m/2 m high, pointing slightly downwards.
• Install the device facing north or south. Do not face the device east or west as the sunrise and sunset can cause false triggers and produce overexposed images.
• To monitor a game trail, aim the device along the trail rather than perpendicular to it. This allows you to see multiple animals at once if they are passing in a line.
• Clear branches or grass in front of the device. In windy conditions or high temperatures, they could cause false triggers.
