The Viking throwing game "Kubb" is a strategy game that comes from Scandinavia. The game is designed for two teams of 1 to 6 players each and symbolizes a battle where opposing groups fight for their king. Players try to knock over or "knock down" the opponent's wooden blocks (Kubbs) with throwing sticks. The traditional size of the playing field for Kubb is 5 by 8 meters. However, this size can be freely chosen based on the players' abilities and can be marked out with boundary sticks. Kubb can be played on various surfaces such as grass, sand, snow or solid ground. The king, situated in the center of the playing field, must be the last to be hit.
