Material

The structure of the Bean chair is made of wood, such as chipboard, beech, pine, and plywood. The seat cushion is filled with T37 foam, a standard foam with a long lifespan, and HR30 foam, a high-elasticity foam that retains its shape dynamically and offers great comfort. The foam is very air-permeable and quickly returns to its original shape. The back cushion is filled with the same foam for a comfortable seat.

Our Copa leather has a unique appearance and uses leather scraps! The leather look consists of 68% cow leather fibres, 30% polyester, and has a Martindale rating of 30,000. The material is made up of two parts: the bottom layer is made of recycled leather fibres, which give it a natural appearance. The top layer is a polyester coating that protects the leather and prevents imperfections. It is therefore a robust combined fabric. The microfiber is knitted from very small synthetic fibres. This manufacturing technique gives the fabric its firmness and a fine, soft touch. The fabric is highly resistant to fading. With use, the appearance and structure of the fabric will show more of its natural characteristics, which does not affect its quality.
